Not sure what's going on, but I hope it stays this way for a long time. Since the new season has started.....710, 657, 711 (230 avg.) on WNEM league, 627 and 619 (208 avg.) on Wed Trios league, and 708 (236 avg.) subbing on Thursday Pinbusters league. I am not used to this stuff. My highest book average was 202 a year ago and currently a 197 book average. All my friends and family say it dropped this year because of the addition of my baby girl to the family. Less sleep and more to do I guess. I think I can attribute my new found success to the same reason, with an addition. If you have children, then you know what I mean. There is nothing like waking up or coming home from work and seeing the love in your child's eyes. It makes the world a better place every day. The additional reason is the love and support from my beautiful wife. She doesn't like bowling like I do, but understands that I do. Although, I don't think she knows why. I have been truely blessed in the past year and a half and I do not take those blessings for granted. Leslie, if you are reading this to Brooklen, I love you both so very much and everything I do, I do it for you.

After a real crappy summer of bowling poorly, I certainly had little expectations of any good from the first night of league for the new fall season. I found a great line with an old ball during practice, but did not think much until game one was done. First frame I went too far out and left a 3 pin then spared. Then the fun began. I ran the next 11 to complete the game with a 290. I am very excited to get a plaque, whenever it gets to me. The best thing is that I have never had 12 in a row, even from last frames of one game plus beginning of next game, but I did get the 12th strike in 1st frame of game 2. I was a bit disappointed with a 710 series but I am not going to complain, after all, like I said earlier it was a crappy summer for my bowling.
